The Oculus Quest VR headset enables team collaboration in real time and in virtual reality.
This makes it easy for Hegias’ customers and their partners and other stakeholders to immersively walk through, discuss, design and set up planned construction projects together.
It’s been a while since we’ve met in person.
Most events, including trade fairs in the real estate and construction industry, have been postponed for months due to the constantly changing travel and safety regulations.
One of the largest real estate and investment industry trade fairs where we “sminions” were still able to meet you in person was Expo Real in Munich last October.
We had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of you at the Swiss Innovation Corner stand, which we shared with our partner, the PropTech company Hegias VRa pioneer in virtual reality visualization and communication solutions.
Together we organized an exciting competition with valuable prizes among all visitors who left us their business cards. The lucky winner has now received a brand new Oculus VR headset and a Panasonic Toughbook!

This makes it easy for Hegias’ customers and their partners and other stakeholders to immersively walk through, discuss, design and set up planned construction projects together. Paul Schnabel, project developer at the German project development company for residential real estate Wilma Immobilien GmbHunpacked his prizes in a conversation between smino and Hegia’s VR.
“I was already toying with the idea of using the whole thing professionally, of course,” he said enthusiastically.
Users of the smino software solution experience the tablet application as a perfect tool for defect management during inspections and for digital signatures.
If no internet is available on the construction site, the app saves the information offline and automatically synchronizes it with the cloud service once connected.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the competition and took the time to discuss the digitalization of the construction and real estate industry. If you are attending the next major industry event, the MIPIM in Cannes in March, be sure to visit smino at our stand! We look forward to seeing you all again in person.
